Superhuman Docs is the new name for Coda, not a separate replacement product. Existing docs, tables, Packs, automations, formulas, plans, API endpoints, and coda.io links continue to work, with old links redirecting to docs.superhuman.com. Some embeds, data loss prevention rules, browser settings, and Slack connections may need the new domain or reauthorization.

The supplied August 2026 EUR page lists Superhuman Docs Pro at €12 per Doc Maker per month billed annually, with Editors and Viewers free; Notion's US page lists Plus at $10 per member per month, with guests free. Superhuman Docs offline editing requires opening the doc online first, while Notion's desktop and mobile apps let users mark pages for offline use and automatically download recent and favorite pages on paid plans.
Superhuman Docs is document-first, placing narrative pages, connected tables, formulas, buttons, Packs, and automations in the same doc. Airtable is database-first, with bases and custom interfaces, and documents automation caps of 25,000 monthly runs on Team, 100,000 on Business, and 500,000 on Enterprise Scale. Airtable's HyperDB supports up to 100 million records, while Superhuman Databases is a closed beta documented for up to 1 million rows, so Airtable is the stronger fit for mature high-scale data workloads.
Superhuman Docs can import Notion pages or a workspace from an HTML export. Include subpages and create folders for subpages before uploading the ZIP file; exports over 2GB must be unzipped first. Values and data are retained, but formulas, filters, and alternative database views do not transfer as working structures and must be rebuilt after import.
Superhuman Docs can import one or multiple Google Docs as editable pages, but only the first tab of a multi-tab Google Doc is imported. Changes made after import do not sync back to the original Google Doc. Google Sheets are not supported by that importer, so use CSV files with up to 10,000 rows per import or connect through the Google Sheets Pack.
Superhuman Docs can continue editing a doc offline only after that doc has been opened while connected to the internet. Edits sync after reconnection, but closing or refreshing the tab, logging out, clearing the cache, or remaining offline for more than 30 days may cause unsynced changes to be lost. Pack refreshes, embeds, new Pack installation, and templates require an internet connection.
As of August 5, 2026, Superhuman Docs has a Mac desktop app, while a Windows version is in development, plus iOS and Android apps. Mobile users can create, view, edit, and share docs, add or remove table rows, comment, and receive notifications. Formula editing, column formatting, table display changes, Docs AI, and Databases require the desktop or web experience.
The Superhuman Docs MCP connects ChatGPT, Claude Chat, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Cursor, and other compatible AI clients to docs. Paid Doc Makers can use read and write tools subject to rate limits, while Editors receive read-only access capped at 30 requests per week and 60 per month. MCP actions operate within the connected user's Docs permissions, and Enterprise administrators can control MCP access.
Docs AI sends relevant content to third-party AI providers to generate responses, but Superhuman says those providers are not allowed to train their models on customer content. Superhuman may use user content to train its own AI models depending on account settings, and its privacy policy provides an AI training control. Content uploaded to or produced through organization-managed accounts is governed by the organization's contract and data protection terms rather than the consumer privacy policy.
Superhuman Docs automations can trigger from row changes, form submissions, webhooks, or schedules running every 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, or 12 hours, as well as daily, weekly, or monthly. Actions can change table rows, duplicate pages, notify users, push buttons, update controls, and run Pack actions across tools such as Slack, Gmail, Jira, Google Calendar, and Salesforce. Monthly per-doc quotas are 35 time-based and 100 event-based runs on Free, 100 and 500 on Pro, and unlimited on Business and Enterprise.
