Powering the next generation of healthcare delivery.
Grade: A — Score: 90/100
Healthie leverages a cloud-based infrastructure to provide a comprehensive suite of tools for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards while enhancing patient care through technology. The platform includes features such as AI charting, telehealth capabilities, and multi-provider support, making it a robust solution for modern healthcare delivery.
With Healthie, practices can optimize their workflows through automated scheduling, billing, and patient engagement tools. The platform supports collaborative care with permissions tailored for multi-provider environments, allowing teams to work efficiently and effectively.
By addressing the risks associated with legacy EHR systems, Healthie offers a secure and scalable solution that adapts to the evolving needs of healthcare providers. Its modular design allows for easy integration with third-party applications, ensuring that practices can maintain a competitive edge in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.
Core: USD 19.99/month or USD 18/month billed annually
Essentials: USD 49.99/month or USD 45/month billed annually
Plus: USD 129.99/month or USD 115/month billed annually

Consider switching to SimplePractice: SimplePractice offers similar practice management features but may have different pricing structures and user interfaces.
Yes. AI Charting is an optional subscription on Plus or above, so it is not required for the standard EHR workflow. Administrators also control individual providers' Scribe permissions; declining this add-on does not establish the data policies of other integrations you separately enable.
Healthie's Scribe FAQ says session audio, video and transcripts are not used to train its models or those of its subprocessors. It also says customer data is not used to train or improve AI models. This is a documented vendor commitment for the reviewed workflow, not an independent audit or a statement about every third-party marketplace product.
Transcripts default to indefinite retention unless an account retention window is configured, and authorized staff can delete them. Healthie says raw Scribe audio is not retained within Healthie. Optional Zoom cloud recordings or local recordings are separate artifacts with separate storage and retention responsibilities.
Healthie's migration page asks you to export your SimplePractice client data and complete its import questionnaire. Its import documentation limits non-Enterprise imports to patient demographics, so a complete source export does not mean complete clinical-history import. Agree the handling of notes, documents, templates and appointments before ending your previous subscription.
Healthie documents report exports and downloads of chart notes, forms and documents, with assisted file exports available to paid memberships. Credit-card details are excluded, and chat-history export requires API access. Complete and check your exports before cancellation; any separate post-termination rights or assistance depend on the applicable agreement.
The Group plan provides shared calendars, permissions and internal team chat. Its base contains one standard clinician seat and one support seat, with additional standard seats charged separately and accompanied by a support seat. Enterprise is the route documented for optional sub-organizations and full web white-label SSO, so confirm those requirements before choosing Group.
Healthie's Claim.MD integration supports claims, eligibility checks and remittance workflows on Essentials or above, but requires a separately billed clearinghouse service and relevant payer enrollment. Healthie asks new users to request activation through Healthie rather than independently creating another Claim.MD account. Confirm the applicable fee schedule because Healthie's public pricing references differ.
Healthie documents a DoseSpot EPCS service with credential verification, identity proofing and two-factor authentication. However, its pricing table lists EPCS as a Group add-on while the dedicated guide describes Enterprise access. Obtain written confirmation of your plan's eligibility and the prescribing charges before relying on this workflow.
Compare the insurance and team workflows you actually need. Healthie's Group plan documents shared scheduling and team permissions, while its direct clearinghouse workflow uses a separately billed Claim.MD connection. SimplePractice documents Insurance Essentials across its subscription plans, including primary and secondary claims and payment reports, with separate charges for electronic claims and status checks. Test those workflows and migration requirements rather than assuming that either platform's base subscription covers every service.
